Description
To provide the knowledge and skills to identify and classify plants, and to
prepare and maintain collections.
Range of Variables
This module is designed to be delivered off-the-job for full and part-time
learners. Ideally, the module hours should be sequenced over a semester period
to ensure adequate time for skill and knowledge acquisition.

Practical studies, which are an integral part of this module, should be
carefully integrated with the relevant theoretical principles and concepts.

Timing of classes to accommodate species selection should be considered.
