Description
To provide a series of learning experiences for the
pre-apprentice with the intention of developing life
skills, self-confidence and self-esteem.
To provide the pre-apprentice with information on the availability of community
education and self-help groups, and the services they offer.
To introduce the pre-apprentice to the range of
recreational and sporting opportunities available to him.
To provide the pre-apprentice with information on the services offered by
Local, State and Commonwealth Government departments.
To provide students with the opportunity to select or develop a component of
the course that will enhance their personal development. It may well vary from
recreation, to selecting an elective, or to the development of appropriate
content. The basis of personal development will be to give students the chance
to make decisions within the college context.
