Description
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to apply introductory industry information in a range of non-trade building and construction environments.

This is a knowledge-based unit of competency which is applied by new entrants to non-trade roles in the building and construction industry who access sources of information about the industry, its place in the economy, the basic concepts, principles and common terminology that apply, and use this information in both oral and written communication with colleagues.
