Description
To introduce students to the Australian Industrial
Relations system.

To provide students with an awareness of the role,
structure and operation of the unions and the
employer organisation.

To develop an understanding of the Commonwealth and
State Tribunals, and the problems associated with
the dual system.

Enable students to compare the Australian Industrial
Relations system with those of the United States of
America and Great Britain.
