Description
To introduce or reintroduce students to the Aboriginal
cultural seasonal cycle for the reference and
information base of the art course.
To bring students to respect the diversity of
Aboriginal art and art forms that belong to
traditional regions.

and tools, to learn methods and characteristics
for producing visual statements.

Range of Variables
A teacher will introduce students to the course and introduce, or reintroduce, the Aboriginal cultural seasonal cycle.
The teacher will expect all students to have basic materials and tools.
The teacher will teach interpretations of symbols, themes, and subjects and designs using basic shapes and marks.
The teacher will introduce students to the characteristics of mediums for drawing.
The teacher will also bring students to an awareness of safety and health issues, practice preparations, cleaning of materials and equipment, respecting facilities and ensuring the will-being of others.
