Description

The aim of this Diploma is to provide an opportunity for Aboriginal people to develop their artistic skills in order to reflect an awareness of their own identity, culture and pride in their aboriginality.

This course also aims to provide training in visual arts for Aboriginal people which may lead to employment, provide skills to participate in and to develop community ventures and/or self-employment options and to provide an opportunity for development of artistic skills to a professional level.

To provide Aboriginal students with the opportunity to further develop skills in visual arts and Aboriginal cultural awareness.

To provide Aboriginal students with the skills required to conduct their own visual arts community and business ventures.

Graduates of this course will also have access to further education and
training options.
