Description
To further develop the skill and speed of taking
dictation and the verbatim transcription from
shorthand notes, given a four-minute passage at 100
wpm which complies with Australian Standard 2907.

Student is required to be assessed in accordance
with Australian Standard 2907 when at the required
level. Attempts on different pieces (which are recorded as having been
read) may be required until the student has met Australian Standard 2907.

As per Australian Standard 2907 from a bank of
papers.

Student will receive a speed Certificate at 100 wpm which denotes level of
accuracy of 100% or 99% or 98% minimum, according to the suggested Certificate
in Australian Standard 2907. The student will also have a result recorded on a
TAFE computer sheet for Subject No 22-244 at one of the following grades:
