Description
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to investigate and evaluate modern methods of construction in the building and construction industry.
This is a knowledge-based unit of competency which is applied by new entrants to non-trade roles in the building and construction industry who research and evaluate construction industry trends to identify new and emerging methods and materials for construction, their benefits and disadvantages, in order to contribute to workplace discussions on future trends and ways to address current issues facing the industry.
