Sample File - a comprehensive record of
all required processes to be completed. 40%
Assignment Outfits:
The student shall produce two adult outfits which
50% of the work must be cut out under lecturer's
supervision and done in class time. The garments
between them shall include:
- one garment with set in sleeves.
- one garment with either kimono or raglan sleeves.
- waistline join or a casing or a waistband.
- a collar in current fashion.
- one or more pockets of those listed in the syllabus.
- outfits may be selected from a range of dresses, skirts,
blouses or unlined jackets. (Commercial patterns to be used.)
- outfits should be of different woven
fabrics. 60%
Students must record a pass in file as well as the
garments.
