This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to support ethical practices and maintain professional conduct within legislative and compliance requirements.
This unit of competency is applied by caregivers who complete tasks within the parameters of their job role, workplace policies and procedures and legal and ethical frameworks. They use these frameworks to guide decisions about workplace practice including responses to ethical dilemmas and breaches of compliance requirements.
