To enable the learner to:

-identify the major external structures of plants and explain their function
- identify the major internal structures in stems, leaves and roots of
plants and explain their function
- identify the abiotic and internal factors influencing plant growth and
explain their role in the growth of plants
- use plant classification systems to classify flowering plants.
