Description
To enable the learner to develop skills in the field of fire suppression and
safety.
Range of Variables
Delivery should be flexible to allow for various modes of delivery. A range of
resources will be needed and are listed in the conditions in each learning
outcome.

Resources required are listed in the Assessment Conditions for each Learning
Outcome.

It is a requirement that lecturers delivering this module have a minimum of:

- Two years practical experience in bushfire control
- A pass in the Bushfires Board Train-the Trainer Program or Workplace
Trainer or equivalent
- A pass in the Bushfires Board Fire Fighters Course.
Evidence Guide
Internal Assessment 100%

- Completion of practical work
- Written examination

The learner is required to demonstrate competency in each of the learning
outcomes to a minimum standard of 75% in both written and practical work as
required by the Bushfires Board of Western Australia.
