Description
To provide competency based training in the process of identifying and
researching significant marketing related problems or opportunities and then
formulating, executing and evaluating courses of action which solve the
problem(s) or capitalise on the opportunity(ies).

It will be necessary for the learner to obtain the co-operation of their
employer or another organisation so that they can implement and evaluate the
plan they have devised.
Range of Variables
The module is almost entirely composed of the application of previously
acquired theoretical knowledge to a “real life” situation.

The module will be learner driven with fixed time meetings arranged for every
second week with a TAFE facilitator. The role of the facilitator will be to
monitor progress and to provide advice. There will be no formal lessons,
although group meetings chaired by the facilitator may be desirable/necessary
from time to time.

Learners will be encouraged to use the largest possible variety of on-the-job
and off-the-job learning methods and sources of input.
