To develop an understanding of the history of the Australian Aboriginal people
before the advent of European settlement.
To develop an understanding of the history of the relationship between the
Aboriginal people and the European settlers following settlement of Australia.

learning outcomes to the class as approved by the lecturer
-Completion of short tests at the end of each of the Learning Outcomes (1 - 7

-One written test covering Learning Outcomes 1 - 7 inclusive. Test to include
5 short answer questions and one essay question
OR
Flexible Delivery Mode
-Written assignments based on each of the Learning Outcomes (1 - 7 inclusive)
-A major assignment encompassing the concepts of the subject covered in
Learning Outcomes 1 - 7 inclusive. Assignment to include one major essay
question comprising 50% of the assignment.
Learners shall achieve a pass in ALL learning outcomes before being granted a
pass in this subject.
