Internal Assessment 100%
Assessment is carried out by the College Lecturer and
selected staff in a fieldwork agency. Students are
assessed according to their performance in three areas:
-Negotiation between the TAFE lecturer and a community agency to arrange the
fieldwork placement. This may be in any Community Agency which meets the needs
of people with a disability. Student is required to arrange/negotiate
conditions of involvement.
-Production of a submission/proposal that attempts to meet a need identified by
the agency. The proposal is to include costing, staffing needs, evaluation
method and rationale for the proposal.
-Satisfactory performance in the day to day work of the agency and a
demonstration of ability to work as a member of a team.
Assessed on a pass/fail basis.
