Description
To develop skills and knowledge to be able to develop and maintain a strategic
fit between the organisation’s goals and capabilities and its changing
marketing opportunities through a clear mission, supporting objectives, a sound
business portfolio and co-ordinated marketing and management functional
strategies.
Range of Variables
This module may be provided on or off-the-job and is suitable for face to face
delivery in a structured occupationally safe and healthy learning environment
or by flexible delivery through external, mixed mode, technology or multi-media
based systems.

Adaptation of this module for alternative delivery modes will require
additional learning resources for delivery and assessment which incorporate
case studies and practical applications of the principles and concepts outlined.

In whatever mode is selected for provision or access purposes, strategies
should be selected to reflect the nature of the learning outcomes and the needs
of the participants. Although the module is substantially knowledge or theory
based, it is required to be supported by case studies and practical
applications of the principles and concepts for assessment purposes.
