Description
To improve the students' ability to handle numeracy
in the workplace.

To assist students from non-English speaking
backgrounds in understanding the English of basic
maths.

To provide students with the tools for developing further skills in the
workplace which require a basic knowledge of numeracy.

On completion of each unit of work an assignment
will be given for assessment purposes.

Topic 1 - 20% of total mark
Topic 2 - 10% of total mark
Topic 3 - 10% of total mark
Topic 4 - 20% of total mark
Topic 5 - 20% of total mark
Topic 6 - 20% of total mark

Students will be required to pass each Topic
assessment. The assignments should aim to provide practice in applying
the theoretical concepts learnt in Topics 1-6.
