To enable students to:

- become familiar with the properties and handling qualities
of a range of evening and bridal wear fabrics, by using combinations of these
fabrics to make up a range of evening wear garments.

- learn the advanced construction techniques typical of
high-class single-order evening and bridal wear work.

- estimate fabric and trim requirements, and cost garment
construction.
