Description
To provide the appropriate educational requirements
for the subject area, specified in the Uniform
Shipping Laws Code, to the level of Marine Engine
Driver Grade 1.
To provide a foundation in the theory, operation and
maintenance of diesel and auxiliary machinery
appropriate to operational applications.
To prepare the engineer for entrance to the Marine
Engineer Class 3 Certificate of Competency.
