Description
To provide work experience in a vocational field selected by learner.

To assess and make recommendations on the learner's basic vocational skills in the workplace.
Range of Variables
This module will take place off-campus.

A course lecturer may take the role of learners' co-ordinator and/or job support officer.
Evidence Guide
Continuous assessment by Job Support Officer based on
student's ability to satisfy a set of performance
criteria established for demonstrating acceptable
work practices and behaviours. The assessment will
be completed by the student's co-ordinator following
work placement feedback from Job Support Officer.
This will be discussed with the student.

Assessed on a Satisfactory/Needs Improvement/
Unsatisfactory basis. Overall comment on the success
of the work placement will indicate satisfactory or
unsatisfactory completion of the module.
