assessed must be specified and provided to learners.

The demands of the assessment should be no more than required to demonstrate
competency. Demonstration requires assessment of the task or project during
performance as well as evaluation of the product and other outcomes. When
group activities are undertaken assessment procedures should include and be
supported by activities which will provide evidence of individual achievement
of learning outcomes.

The method(s) chosen should be appropriate to the information sought and the
environment in which it may logically, safely and economically conducted.
