Description
The unique focus of this subject is the study of groups within the world of work, including associated ethics and values, and how these impact upon the individual as a member of a functioning group. Emphasis is placed on the ability of the individual to work effectively within a team. Some experience in the workplace is required.
This subject has been designed to encourage a flexible approach to learning through the development of knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and values under the following career education framework:
- learning about self in relation to work
- learning about the world of work
- learning to make career plans and decisions
- implementing career decisions and managing work transitions.
