Two tests each of two hours duration comprising
multiple choice and/or short answer questions
testing knowledge of concepts plus computational
questions testing competence in performing survey
calculations.
Test 1: Learning outcomes 1 to 3: 40% of total
Test 2: Learning outcomes 4 to 7: 60% of total.
In order to pass this subject, the student must achieve a minimum of 40% of the
available marks in each test, and a aggregate of 50% of the total marks.
