Description
The purpose of this module is to examine the legal relationship between the
banker and customer together with the types of accounts created through that
relationship. It then examines the principles and procedures associated with
lending together with an analysis of the facilities available to specific types
of customers.
Range of Variables
This module is suitable for both face-to-face and distance learning
"off-the-job". It has a strong practical content but this must be underpinned
by a detailed knowledge of lending principles and facilities. Learning outcomes
are best achieved by modified lecture and group discussion, reinforced by case
studies and lending problems to ensure maximum learner participation.

Examination 80%

The internal assessment for 20% of the total grade will be at the lecturer's
discretion and related to the performance criteria nominated at commencement of
the semester. The end of semester examination for 80% of the total grade will
be one, three hour written examination.
