Description
To provide students with the skills necessary to:

- recognise pattern sizes required for children aged 3 to 12
years.

- construct comfortable garments suited to the age of the
child, incorporating colourful, attractive trims.

The student will construct:

- a tracksuit (see Topic 10 for details)
- a girl's dress (see Topic 11 for details)
- an outfit for either a boy or a girl (see Topic 12).

Garments must be suitable for a child aged between 3
and 12 years, must be cut out under the lecturer's
supervision, and 50% of the work done in class time.
