Description
This qualification covers the skills needed to work at practitioner level in nutritional medicine.
Occupational titles for these workers may include:
Nutritional medicine practitioner
Nutritional therapist

Packaging Rules
Twenty three (23) units of competency are required for award of this qualification, including:- twenty one (21) core units, comprising twelve (12) common units and nine (9) specialisation units
- two (2) elective units
A wide range of elective units is available, including:
- Group A electives which are recommended for culturally aware and respectful practice
- Units of competency to address workplace requirements and packaged at the level of this qualification or higher in Health and/or Community Services Training Packages
- Where appropriate, to address workplace requirements, up to two (2) units of competency packaged at the level of this qualification or higher in other relevant Training Packages
1. Core Units
All twenty one (21) units must be completed.
2. Group A Culturally Aware and Respectful Practice
It is recommended that one (1) or both units be completed.
