Description
This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of motorcycles within the automotive service and repair industry.

The Certificate III in Motorcycle Mechanical Technology prepares new employees or recognises and develops existing workers performing mechanical work in the automotive motorcycle service and repair industry.

Packaging Rules
To be awarded this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in thirty six (36) units of competency, consisting of:- twenty four (24) core units, plus
- twelve (12) elective units, of which:
- up to twelve (12) elective units may be chosen from the elective units list
- up to six (6) elective units may be chosen from a Certificate II qualification or above in this Training Package or another endorsed Training Package or accredited course, provided that the units chosen contribute to the vocational outcome of this qualification and do not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen for the qualification.

All twenty four (24) units must be completed.
2. Elective Units
Up to twelve (12) units may be chosen from the elective units list.
