INDUSTRY CORE UNITS - To gain a Certificate IV qualification, achievement of the 6 industry core units must be confirmed. Those who have previously gained a Certificate III will have had these units assessed. If the industry core units have not been assessed as part of a Certificate III, they will need to be assessed in a Recognition of Prior Learning process or assessed in combination with the Certificate IV units.

* all 4 units may be selected from this training Package at the Certificate IV level * of the 4 units, up to 3 units appropriate at Certificate IV level (AQF level IV) may be selected from other endorsed packages * of the 4 units, up to 3 units at one level above or below the Certificate IV may be included in this qualification * the choice of electives should be appropriate to the level and integrity of the qualification and to the workplace outcomes it is designed to meet * the units listed below are suggested as suitable electives but designers of training programs should consider the full range of units in this Training Package and other endorsed Training Packages when choosing electives.
