The unit of competency delivered in this Skill set covers the skills and knowledge required to assemble garment components using a domestic machine and operation techniques. Students will learn basic skills in selecting fabrics, laying up pattern pieces and cutting and assembling garments in a non-commercial environment.

The Skill Set has been specifically designed to cater to Year 11 and Year 12 secondary school students participating in VETDSS programs. Only available for delivery to VETDSS students.
