Description
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to maintain costume continuity for productions in the screen, media and entertainment industries. It involves the planning and maintenance of costumes during a production to ensure that performance requirements are met.The unit applies to those who check that the appearance of performers’ costumes is consistent from one take to the next on film shoots, or between scenes requiring costume changes in live theatre productions. On film shoots, they facilitate the post-production process by tracking details of each shooting session, as many scenes are shot out of sequence.
