1. Plan and prepare
  • 1.1 Identify symbols, codes, legends and diagrams in engineering drawings
  • 1.2 Identify and interpret manufacturing information, products, systems and components represented in engineering drawings
  • 1.3 Determine work requirements and confirm with appropriate personnel
2. Determine processes
  • 2.1 Identify specific customer and job requirements
  • 2.2 Identify required manufacturing processes from drawing, and select materials according to job requirements and workplace procedures
3. Complete work processes
  • 3.1 Prepare production order according to engineering drawings and workplace procedures
  • 3.2 Record engineering drawing outcomes and workplace documents and store engineering drawings according to workplace procedures
