Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in the production of bus, truck and trailer and components manufacture. The qualification is suitable for entry into the automotive manufacturing industry.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:- Twenty eight (28) units of competency:
- Eleven (11) core units, plus
- Seventeen (17) elective units.
Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome, without duplicating the outcome of another unit chosen for this qualification.
The electives are to be chosen as follows:
- up to seventeen (17) elective units may be chosen from the elective units listed below
- up to five (5) elective units may be chosen from a Certificate II qualification or above in this Training Package or another endorsed Training Package or accredited course.
