This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to collect statistical information and interpret data in order to inform work processes.This unit applies to individuals who are required to collect, interpret and record data to inform work. This typically includes plotting data on run charts and statistical process control (SPC) charts; and identifying trends and variations according to given limits.No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
