Description

To provide the academic knowledge required by learners to prepare them for the award of Australian Yachting Federation (AYF) Yachtmaster qualifications TL4 and TL5 (inshore).

To provide the academic and practical knowledge required by learners to
completely operate a small craft in the non-commercial industry.

Students who successfully complete the Certificate II in Marine Studies (Yachtmaster) will have satisfied the academic requirements for the Department of Transport Coxswain Certificate of Competency. (logged seatime still required).
