Description

This course provides competency in the range of tasks and the application of knowledge required by a farrier tradesperson.

Schedule
1.

Participants are required to successfully complete all 20 core units.

Units 36744 VBP534 Handle horses safely in provision of farriery services and S3432 Carry out workplace OHS procedures, must be completed prior to any other units.


** Please note: This course allows for access by apprenticed students only. Participants should be advised that successful completion of the qualification requires a high level of physical stamina and compliance with relevant state legislation concerned with the prevention of cruelty to animals. In addition, a range of skills are required in writing, reading, speaking and the performance of calculations. **
