State Implementation and Classification
Description
The Certificate I in Wider Opportunities for Work has been designed as a preparatory qualification with a focus on the development of work related skills. It is aimed at enhancing the learner’s job-readiness, and offers pathways into further education and training at Certificate II and III levels, as well as potential outcomes in community participation. The qualification may be contextualised and customised to suit different learner target groups and focus areas.

Four (4) units are to be completed, including either Workplace Practice 2 (81358) or Community Based Project (81359 ):
