Description

The Certificate I in Wider Opportunities for Work [WOW] has been developed as part of a suite of access and transition programs designed to provide learners with the personal, vocational and educational knowledge and skills to progress to a range of enhanced opportunities in education, training and/or employment.

Schedule
1.

To achieve 7134 Certificate I in Wider Opportunities for Work (WOW), the 4 core units plus either Option 1 or Option 2 from the elective group must be completed.

Core Units

Students are to complete either 81358 Workplace Practice 2 OR 81359 Community Based Project.

2.

Elective Group

Option 1

An industry/vocational Certificate I qualification from a Training Package or Accredited Course (maximum of 190 hours)

OR

Option 2

Any combination of the following electives to a maximum of 190 hours:
Imported industry/vocational units from any Training Package or Accredited Course at Certificate I Level and the following units.

NB: HLTFA1A will be replaced by HLTFA301B from the revised Health Training Package once it is available.
