* use a range of strategies to deal with learning problems associated with dyslexia
* understand and manage their dyslexia
* gain condidence when faced with simple math and literacy tasks
* develop some job seeking and interpersonal skills
* develop keyboard skills

2. The proponent for this course is Central TAFE. This course has been accredited by the Training Accreditation Council (TAC) in Western Australia. It has been placed on the National Register as code 51153.

4. Modules 20106, 20107, 20108 and 20109 to be delivered by a dyslexia specialist approved by the Dyslexia Speld Foundation WA. Other modules to be delivered by staff, who have attended a two hour in-service course run by Dyslexia Speld Foundation WA and who have their Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
