Description

The focus of the Certificate II in Mibala Learning Country is to support learners to understand and recognise the role of culture in their everyday lives, including their future education and training experiences.

The course provides learners with the skills to explore their own Aboriginal identity and the impact it has on everyday learning, including strategies for two-way learning.

It is designed to assist learners who have been marginalised or disadvantaged by mainstream education, to re-engage with secondary education activities, or where relevant, to articulate into vocational pathways.

Schedule
To be awarded the Certificate II in Mibala Learning Country, learners must successfully complete eight (8) units, made up of:
- five (5) core units, plus
- three (3) elective units, of which:
- two (2) electives from the list provided
- the remaining one (1) elective may be selected from any other Certificate II from any other accredited course or endorsed training package.

Elective units must be relevant to the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, vocational outcome.
