Description

To provide a certificate through which the existing competencies and skills of Aboriginal people assisting teachers in various capacities in (or those wanting to) work in schools and training institutions can be recognised and credited.

To enable participants to acquire skills and the knowledge necessary to increase their effectiveness in schools and training institutions while also providing a pathway to further education.

To provide a flexible program of study to address the professional development needs of people assisting teachers and training institutions.
