State Implementation and Classification
Description
The Certificate II in Leadership is a pathway course to the Certificate IV in Leadership and Mentoring qualification as well as other Certificate II and III vocationally specific courses.
This course supports individuals with their transition to employment, further education and community participation.
Schedule
- All five (5) core units listed below, and
- At least four (4) elective units (see elective unit information below).
Elective Units
Select four (4) elective units from any endorsed Training Package or Accredited Course at AQF Level 2 to bring the course up to a minimum of 280 nominal hours. (One unit may be chosen from AQF Level 1 or AQF level 3)
Elective units should be relevant to the key client group, job outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level. It is recommended that one elective unit should have a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) focus.
Units drawn from Training Packages or other Accredited Courses must comply with the Assessment Guidelines of that Training Package or Accredited Course.

2. Suggested Elective Units
