State Implementation and Classification
Description
The aim of the Certificate II Introduction to Disability Care is to provide learners with basic industry specific skills and knowledge to either enable transition into a traineeship within the Community Services sector at the Certificate III level or provide them with key industry specific skills and knowledge to support employment in the Disability sector.

- seven (7) core unit
A Statement of Attainment will be issued for each unit of competency completed if the full qualification is not completed.
The Qualification is to be delivered utilising face to face delivery mode, with a 100 hour work placement required to be undertaken in a disability care setting to allow for consolidation of knowledge and skills.
