State Implementation and Classification
Description
The Certificate 1 in Industrial Skills (Entry Level Training) provides participants with the opportunity to gain skills in a range of trades to enable them;
- Entry into the resource industry workforce (pre-employment programs)
- Articulation into specialised trade studies (remote programs)
- Capacity building of Indigenous communities skills base (remote communities programs)
- Building skills in learners support areas (LLN areas)

1. Group 1 - Occupational health and safety
Learners to chose one unit from each of Group 1 - 3.
Note: Three are 3 groups of core units, two groups of Industry Skills Support units (either 4A or 4B as one group) and one group of electives to a maximum total of 417 nominal hours of the course.
