Description
This module is designed to provide the learner with a knowledge of all aspects
of advertising, merchandising, point of sale activities, publicity, public
relations, sponsorships, sales promotion and support for sales personnel,
sufficient to develop an effective measurable promotional plan to meet the
marketing objectives of the organisation.

Range of Variables
This module may be taught on or off the job. It is suitable for face to face
delivery in a classroom or other similar venue and is also suitable for
flexible delivery through, for example, external, mixed-mode, computer based or
satellite delivery systems. Adaptation of this module for appropriate flexible
delivery modes will require additional educational resources for the
instructional design and production of suitable resource materials.

supported by case studies and practical applications of the principles or
concepts outlined.
