To provide the students with the practical skills and knowledge to operate
safely and carry out routine maintenance on a wide variety of horticultural
machinery.

This subject is to be assessed internally using competence as a measure of
student achievement.

The learner is required to demonstrate competency in each of the learning
outcomes in line with the assessment method shown.

Assessment will be based on the following methods:

-practical assessment of objectives 3.2, 4.1, 4.3, 5.1, 6.2,
7.2 40%
