To describe how the behaviour of individuals and
groups influence and are influenced by
organisations, and how this impacts on
organisational effectiveness.

To systematically introduce and explain the
theories, models and concepts that lead to an
understanding of organisational behaviour.

To illustrate and discuss how a knowledge and
understanding of organisational behaviour can be
applied to improving individual, group and
