Students should be able to:

-construct a selection of walls, screens and fences under supervision
-construct a selection of other simple structures relevant to landscaping under
supervision
-pave an area with various materials under supervision
-describe how plants are used in soft landscaping
-plant out and maintain a landscaping site
-work in a group on a landscaping project.

competence as a measure of student achievement.

Assessment will be based on:

-demonstration of practical skills
-workbook to record selected activities including a short factual account of
one of the projects undertaken
-participation in group activities
-short answer/oral tests.
