Description
To provide training to effectively interact with children, staff and families, and to effectively contribute to a program, through an appreciation of self worth and values.
Range of Variables
1 As this module requires ongoing personal
development by the participants it is
suggested delivery occur in a group
learning context over a substantial period
of time, eg. 2 hours x 10 weeks. If this
is not possible delivery should occur in
blocks, for example, two blocks of 10 hours
minimum 6-10 weeks apart. (This will allow
time for the required personal development
to occur).
It is recommended that this module occur
early in the course pathway.
2 All learning outcomes are to be assessed
off-the-job and the nature of the
assessments to be made make it essential
that delivery occur in a small group
setting which encourages open discussion,
exploration of relevant issues and
experiential learning. Participants will
be examin
