To provide an overview of the range of children's services and an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the staff employed in a variety of services including Long Day Care, Family Day Care, Family Centres, Occasional Child Care and Out of School Hours Care.
Range of Variables
1 This module could be delivered either
through an open learning mode or in a group
learning context.

2 Delivery of this module should incorporate
site visits to a range of services if student
group is not employed in the industry.

3 Delivery of this module should encourage the
learner to develop skills in accessing
information from the State regulations, and
should place major emphasis on what is
quality care.
