Description
To provide the learners with knowledge and understanding of the basic
mathematical operations required to manipulate polynomial expressions,
transpose formulae and to use linear and quadratic equations to find solutions
to surveying problems.

Successful completion of this module will give exemption from the following
National Modules:

- AAB111 Introduction to Algebra
- AAB112 Transposing and Evaluation
- AAB115 Indices
- AAB113 Polynomials.
Range of Variables
Delivery may be face-to-face teaching, self paced or external mode.

Many areas of content apply to a number of learning outcomes therefore
integration will be appropriate.
Evidence Guide
Internal Assessment 100%

Assessment will be by an appropriate combination of criterion referenced
tasks: quiz, written tests and assignments/project.
